Your Permanent Bridge Deposit Address, Explained

How Bridge's permanent deposit address works, why it's reusable, and what changes it when it doesn't.

Bridge gives you a deposit address for each chain-and-token combination you set up, and that address is permanent. This article explains how that works and what to expect.

What makes the address permanent

The same source chain and receiving token combination always generates the same deposit address. For example, if you select Ethereum as your source chain and SOL as the token you want to receive, Solflare always gives you the same address for that pairing — whether this is your first deposit or your fiftieth.

This means you can save the address once and reuse it for every future deposit from that chain into that token, without repeating the setup each time.

A different combination gets its own address

Each chain-and-token pairing has its own unique deposit address. If you later want to receive a different token on Solana, or send from a different source chain, you'll be given a new address for that new combination — your existing addresses for other combinations stay the same and remain usable.

Sending different tokens to the same address

On the source chain, you can send a range of available tokens to the address you were given for that chain — not just a single token — and they'll still convert into the Solana token you originally selected for that address, subject to liquidity for the token you're sending.
