Digital wallets are your gateway to web3. With Solflare, you can directly integrate your capital with any of the DeFi platforms, NFT exchanges, and DAO applications built on Solana.

This guide assumes you have already generated a wallet and are currently logged into the browser extension. It will explain how to connect to Raydium, a prominent decentralized exchange (DEX) on Solana, but you can do this with any Solana dApplication.

Step 1

Step 2

A pop up menu will appear. Click Solflare.

Step 3

Click Extension. Again, this guide is assuming that you have already created a wallet, logged into it, and have downloaded the browser extension.

Note: If you don't have the extension downloaded but you are logged in the Web application, just click Web Wallet. You'll be required to leave your wallet tab open in the background if you choose this option.

As you can see in the image below, a wallet address appears in the top right corner once the extension or web application connects to Raydium.

Step 4 (Disconnecting)

To disconnect from Raydium, simply click on your wallet address and this pop up will appear.

Click Disconnect Wallet.

You now know how to connect to and disconnect from the wonderful worlds of DeFi, NFTs, and DAOs. Working with wallets may be intimidating at first, but the more you use them, the more they’ll become second nature to you.
